Middle Ages
The basic government in Europe during the middle ages was based around the feudal system. Small communities were formed around the local lord and the manor. The lord owned the land and everything in it. He would keep the peasants safe in return for their service. The lord, in return, would provide the king with soldiers or taxes.
The middle ages suposed to be called the dark ages, Every thing was decreasing in Europe. The pouplation, food, even the education was decreasing too. In this time there were the "Black Death". Which was throwin every one into death. Europe passed through time of turmoil and confusion of Ignorance, and lowlessness. Europe became a region of Poverty strichen farming communities, each virtually isolated form the rest of the world.

- Pilgrimage: Make a journy to Macca is an obligation once in a lifetime for those who are physically and financially able to perform it.

Crusades
The crusades were a series of holy wars launched by the christain state of Europe against saracens. Saracens is a word used to describe a muslims during the time of crusade. The cause of cursades was a war between christians and muslims which centered around the city of Jerusalm. Christains wanted Jeruslam because it is a holy city for them, and because of their religious significance, but also, muslims wanted it for the same resone. It was a holy city for them too, and most of their phophets were borned there.
